Lucknow Super Giants has made some valuable changes to its coaching department. And they have brought down a new spin bowling coach to the team for the next season. Carl Crowe has now joined the team as their new coach ahead of the next edition.

Lucknow Super Kings are keen to bring up their first IPL title in the next edition. The team has started off by making some key decisions in the retention and release list, but they decided to bring some more changes. Due to this reason, the team has started in its coaching department for the next edition.

It has started with the addition of Carl Crowe to the team. He has been a part of the coaching department in the IPL for a long time. But now he will be taking up the role of a spin bowling coach as he joins Lucknow Super Giants for the next season. Fans will also be eager to see what value he adds to the team's spin department.

1. Crowe’s Coaching Career

Carl Crowe has established himself as a premier spin bowling coach in the Indian Premier League. Despite not playing even a single international game for his side, the experience of Carl Crowe cannot be denied. He was playing for Leicester City in the domestic format of English cricket. There also, Crowe for the team with the ball.

But due to some unknown reasons, he was always overlooked by the selectors. After playing a total of 49 first class matches, he decided to retire himself from all forms of the game. When fans thought that his career in the game had come to an end, Crowe started off with a new chapter in his career, by entering the coaching department.

He is just 50 years old but has some remarkable experience when it comes to coaching. It should be noted that before he joined Lucknow Super Giants, he also worked with the Kolkata Knight Riders as a spin consultant. Along with that, he also worked with another franchise under the Knight Riders, which is the Trinbago Knight Riders

He has worked with several spinners in his career in the IPL. And it has also helped various Indian spinners to establish their career by working under Carl Crowe. It should also be noted that Crowe has worked with Varun Chakravarthy too, in his time while he was in the Kolkata Knight Riders. And now, Chakravarthy stands as one of the finest spinners for India in white ball cricket.

2. Strengthens Coaching Department

Lucknow Super Giants has been focusing on its coaching department for quite a time now. This can be noticed by the change of events which took place in the team over the last few months. They have gone through some vital changes in their coaching staff to ensure that the team the next season of the IPL.

Kane Williamson was also one of the newest additions to the coaching staff of the team this year. He has been brought down by the management as a strategic advisor who will be working with them for the next season. Williamson holds some remarkable experience in the Indian Premier League, noting the time when he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

But over the last few seasons, he was not able to find consistent opportunities in the IPL. Due to this reason, he was also unsold in the last season and decided to start off his coaching career while still being an international player for New Zealand. The experience he brings to the table would be a lot beneficial for Lucknow Super Giants

Following the addition of Kane Williamson to the team, Lucknow Super Giants decided to bring a few more changes to spice things up. For this, they have brought down a new Director to the team, and it is Tom Moody. He is an experienced Australian player, who has also worked for several years.

Moody had worked with Sunrisers Hyderabad for two stints, and delivered his best to the team. But since Brian Lara took over in 2022, Moody had been out of action in the Indian Premier League. Still, Lucknow Super Giants were able to notice his potential and decided to bring him back to the tournament.
